Balthazar is a formerly antagonist, then he turns traitor and becomes an protagonist in the Season 6 of Supernatural. Balthazar faked his own death in the Apocalypse, and Castiel believed him dead. But Castiel was shocked when he read a young boy's soul and he found out that Balthazar was alive. So, Castiel went to see Balthazar but the rogue angel refused to fight. Though not invited to be present at the Second Vatican Council, Balthasar was later awarded the prestigious Paul VI Prize for theology, and at the time of his death in 1988 was about to be made a Cardinal by John Paul II. Through the influence of his ideas not only on the Pope but also on Cardinal. The man behind Balthazar & Son, B.C.H. Balthazar, was a prominent businessman who had landed in Bombay in 1853 to start a general business before moving to Rangoon in 1866, where he would then leave the business to his sons before moving back to Persia. In the unreleased Guild Wars Utopia, the term 'Old Gods' referred to a pantheon of gods that predated the Five True Gods. The island of Xotecha once served as a sanctuary to these gods, and is one of the last traces of the Old Gods in existence.[1]
A great force once threatened Xotecha, 'slowly extinguishing' the light of the Old Gods via the tanneks, but was quelled by the rising power of their successors. The telling of these events is recalled in the eight tablets of the Schism Codex.[1]
The Old Gods created colossal golems, far more complex and mysterious than the ones that the asura would later develop, to guard the Xotechans. They existed in partial unity with the natives since the island's creation, made of rock and other natural resources and adorned with an eerily human expression.[1]
The surface of Xotecha is spotted with the remnants and relics of the Old Gods. Enormous structures whose functions are largely unknown still stand there. Each of the Old Gods imbued one of their elemental power into a subterranean cavern beneath the lush each of the island.[1] Looser than loose.
Nobody from the time of the Old Gods remains on Xotecha.[1]
Potential members[edit]
The following characters connected to the gods (some of whom only exist in non-canon sources) are known to have predated the current pantheon, and may or may not have been intended to be members of this previous pantheon of Old Gods: Agua caliente concert.

- Balthazar's father[2]
- Dwayna's father[3]
Notes[edit]
Relic Of Balthazar Beer
- To the humans of Kryta, the 'old gods' refers to the Five True Gods, in contrast to the 'New Gods' of the Mursaat.[4]
- The existence of a set of gods predating the current pantheon was first hinted at in The Apostate quest in Guild Wars Nightfall.
